Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wife has a 2003 ford escape. She tells me that when she starts the car it dies on her. She says she has to give it gas the next time she starts it and its ok. She also told me it almost died at the light while idel. We took it in last month for a idel problem  they had to take the head off  in their diagnoses and had to replace the  spark plugs and one coil and the head gakset cost us $$$. So what do you think the problem is now. We took in again and wating to hear what they say. Thanks for any help you can give me.

sounds like a fuel issue, replace fuel filter, blead the air of fuel rail, could also be a bad TPS-throttle position scensor. sounds like who you haveing work on it is takeing you,why pull the head for a idle issue.
