Question type: Maintenance & Repair

added freon to low side ,never got cold! air ducts appear to be working fine so i'm thinking a bad compressor!!          Any input would be appreciated!

I had a brand new set of gauges but it never got higher than 100 psi on the high side and stayed at around 90 on the low....they both dropped and leveled out around 85 with engine stopped
