Sounds like a fuel pump, seems like its under a lot of stress and overheats, once it cools down it runs for a few and then shuts down again once it gets too hot, best of luck. Another reason im here besides answering Roberto's Question is that i have a 94 dak w the 3.9, i have replaced all the electrical components in the fuel pump circuit, and the fuel pump, and i still have a no-start situation. not a problem with a spark because it runs if i pour fuel directly into the throttle body.

OK y'all this is a update on the no fuel issue on my 95 dodge , I did find the three wire connection under the relay box that was broken, I reconnect it and it started so I redid all the connections and have not had any other issues, just go's to show no matter how many times your patience fails don't give up
