Question type: General

I just purchased a 1984 Lincoln Town Car, Signature series and can't figure out how to
turn on the fog lights - there is no owner's manual with the darned thing.

I'm not sure if this is right BUT with your headlights on try pulling the the headlight switch out just a little.

Thank you! I wi;; try that. However, there is no way to test this until dark.Either I use my auto-control which turns the lights on at dusk or pull the control knob all the way out to turn them on in the daylight. With the knob pulled out, I can't figure out a way to also pull the knob out slightly to see if this will turn on the fogs. I was outside a long time last night messing with the controls, trying to figure out the lights system and trying to re-set the keyless entry pad but cannot find the original code. I know in some Lincolns, it is located on the left trunk support bar - not in an '84. I have the original code that was used by the first owner, but it must have been changed over the years as it doesn't work. I owned a Lincoln Mark VII for years, loved it dearly and about died when it did. However, the Marks are so different than the Town Cars. Anyway, thank you for your response and I will continue to experiment with my new baby!
