Oil leak

I think I might have a front crank shaft oil
leak. It is just leaking when I drive. There are
drops hanging from the bottom of the engine.
Is it ok if I drive the truck to the mechanic?
He is 45 minutes away from me

A few drops is not a big concern but if it is pouring out I would have it towed.
