i have a 1985 f150 and it wont start when i turn the key just makes a click noise but when i arc the two points on my silenoid it starts rite up i tryed replacing the silenoid, no luck. when i first got the truck it had the problem then it started to start with key out of nowhere but for only a day any ideas?

my truck just makes a loud continuouse clicking noise when I try to start it up. but the lights and things still work fine when not started up yet. what could be the problem? 1 Answer

I have power to everything untill i turn the key to the on position then i loose cab lights and nothing will work, i can't even get the gages to work. if i turn the key all the way back to the power...

i put a new ignition switch in my truck but to do it i took apart the top of the column to do so and when i did a piece fell out with a spring and i got it to where it all goes back and i don't know where the spring looking thing goes and now it is like the key aint telling the transmition its on because it wont go into gear it wont shift out of park 5 Answers
