when idling its fluctuates between 7 and 1000 rpm at times ,then stablizes at8.5 rpm.so
its an intermittent problem.can you help . thanks

has it been tuned up in a while? Possible problems. plugs. Check wires with Ohm meter should read about 5K ohms per foot. Possible coil, check specs. IACV check. These are things you can check that will not cost you anything. Do not begin throwing expensive parts at the problem hoping you will hit it.
