Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What I have replaced is the radiator and thermostat. I was told to look for a heater control switch under the hood, but I do not see one. All I see are two hoses that run from the firewall directly to the thermostat and water pump....Please advise....

then something is restricting flow, maybe clogged. pull the hoses and blow air thru and see how free the core is .

If heater core is ok the fins on the inside of the water pump may have rusted away.

I blew air thru the heater core....So that was the issue I guess, its working now...Thanks for the advise.... Now tackling issue number 2, the shifter (manuel) is stuck in neutral and will not shift into another gear. I was told to pull the boot and see if the fork is worn or locked....We shall see...I am new to this whole working on cars....
