My 2003 Ford Taurus lx shuts down while driving but my battery's fine, so is the starter and the alternator but I don't know where the problem lies... I think it's when I have the heater or the ac on?

is it shutting down like running out of gas or like turning the key off.
That at least narrows it down to electrical. Check all connections on ignition system. Possible there is a intermittent short at key switch. Don't just look at connections. Try to move them as they can look tight but be loose. Good luck.

That's what I figured but when I guess there was a line kind of loose to the brain (computer) of the car and tire kingdom I guess firmly attached it.....it's still shutting down here and there randomly
Keep looking... you just haven't found the right one yet and I don't think is has anything to do with the ECU. Thanks for the "best answer"
