Had fender bender 2 months and some safety feature kept from starting. Wrecker driver
opened trunk and reset the switch in trunk. Today I try to start it and did same, just spun
engine. I checked the switch and I guess it is down it won't move, any idea?

The device you are referring to is an inertia switch. It could be bad. have it checked.
can i check it myself? I thought I MAY BE ABLE TO DICONNEDT IT AND PUT A JUMPER ACROSS THE PLUG, BUT I HAD SECOND THOUGHTS, IT HAVING ALL THIS ELECTRONIC DEVICES.

Yes you can. just to be safe, disconnect the negative battery cable first. If bypassing it works, thats fine, but DON'T leave it that way. replace it. It is there for safety in an accident. It shuts off spark and power to reduce the risk of a fire.
I pulled the inertia switch off and the button was down, when I tapped it against the fire wall it popped open, then I put jumper wire on plug, no start.I think I am back to square one. Any suggestions? Thanks
what is the next easiest check? I will most likely have to put a new pump on, but would like to check every thing else, first. H can I check the relay?

assuming the inertia switch is functioning properly, the next thing is fuel and spark . can you hear the fuel pump run? check fuel pump relay in the relay center. if you don't know how to check a relay, there are several good vids on how to do it on youtube. also, you can look there for how to check for spark.
