where is the fuel canister and evap valve located / 2014 Escape

City Life -- many thanks as I've been thinking there's someone as good as you out there ! Any advice - accessible from inside or from underneath, While here - I tried to replace the rear brake pads and found the local brake puck expander very extended. When I tried to turn the face of the expander ( solenoid ) clockwise as suggested, it wouldn't retract enough to allow room for the new pads - is there a trick to getting the unit to retrack unlike the front with just pressure ? Accessible from the outside. You have to turn and push in at the same time for it to go in. Also what's wrong with the canister?

anybody know where the canister vent valve is on 2011 ford edge? I have to replace it later. I just cant seem to find it online. Thanks
