Question type: Maintenance & Repair

will an OEM clutch disc be compatible with a stage 2 clutch

You need the whole package. If you want a high performance clutch you need the pressure plate and disk that go together.

So how will the clutch react to the oem disc compared to the stage 2 disc that should of been out in? what kind of damage will the oem disc do?

I would say this is a waste of money. Do it right or don't waste the time and money to do it half assed.

so this is whats going on, i ordered a stage 2 clutch kit from Efortissimo through Amazon, my WRX is at Subaru getting a new short block installed so i figured to replace clutch while motor is pulled. Subaru notifies me everything fit ewxcept the clutch disc even tho the clutch kit falls in the parameters of the year,b make, model, and trim of my car. I called Efortissimo but cant leave a message due to there voicemail box full. i finally was able to leave message stating whats going on and left several emails. Meanwhile Subaru is asking me where the clutch disc is so they can finish my car and saying my car cant sit and take up space. Since the company didnt respond to me for over 2 weeks i had to put the OEM disc in. Now im having issues with the clutch. As of now im in the middle of Amazon puting in claim against the company
