Drove it out the lot from the mechanic and at fast acceleration i hear a noise like etching metal with a vibrating mechanical etcher. Feel they could have added the incorrect tran oil, a loose heat shield that would be less likely, or a bad torque converter or trans or combo. Anyone had this problem before?

New oil change, air filter, ac pump, water pump, spark plugs and coils, new intake, new fan and relay, throttle body cleaned. But still same cats from purchase. Not burning oil, no codes, new tires, brakes, shocks and wheels.

Drive it light and nothing. Get on the throttle on a on ramp or fast acceleration and the metal ping. Put it in nuetral and rev nothing. Put back in gear and it happens. Not constant, some days it doesnt even happen. Some days a few times.

Someone suggested a egr or maf, doesnt seem right after a trans pull unless they didnt hook the line back up for the egr or broke something.
