Heat not working properly and over heating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The heat in my Captiva will not warm up properly. It
blows out cold air while sitting and will only heat
up when accelerating. Also it has started over
heating.

It is full of coolant and yes the fan has been running more then normal lately.

Only blows cold air when heat knob turned towards hot area.

Did you ever get this fixed. Mine doesn't overheat but the heat knob only blows cold air
