How does one remove the negative battery connection, i.e. how does one get to the battery???

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Does one have to remove the three electrical connectors plugged into the rear of the computer??? You are woefully negligent in providing this information.. Changing the battery should be covered!!! Removing the computer should also be covered....

GM is not going to put anything in a manual that is not absolutely necessary. They WANT to keep you uninformed....to get you in to dealer and lighten your wallet. And would you mind, and please answer Tom's question? At whom is the "You" directed? Thank You.
A 2914 and you need to remove or replace the battery? Shouldn't it be a warranty item?
Battery is only warranted for 12 mos.- it is a wear item- if you leave a light on for example and the battery goes dead in winter, it will freeze and never hold a charge again- that is not the manufacturer's fault. How many miles are on the car?
The question was asked in 2014 so there is a chance the battery is/ was covered by warranty under all inclusive as when I bought mine. I just got a battery for my Corvette and it is a 5 year no questions asked warranty. Yes I paid more for the warranty but I also got more cranking amps and higher output amps. Since my battery is a side plug connector it constantly pulls out due to vibrations I guess as the plugs are made of lead and are not tough enough to hold over a period of time. If judgelandis does get a new battery, a few bucks spent will pay off in the long run.
