Everything about these cars are a problem. Everything.
Hmmm, you'd think for the insanely high price this would NOT be the case. I guess you don't always get what you paid for.. pathetic.

Fore sure Head & Intake Manifold Gaskets. Be sure to keep an eye on the temp gauge and keep all hoses up to date.
Im on my second LR2, my first was the 2008 model with the Volvo 6, lots of power for sure. I miss the 6 cylinder engine but appreciate the continued comfort, visibility and the square back end for loading items in. I love the size and I love that I can easily find my car in the parking lot. They are quite reliable and handle very well, after all if I wanted Porsche drive ability I would have spent a minimum of 22K more for a Cayenne that has less storage capacity and poor visibility as compared with the LR2. I drove my 2008 for 145K miles with normal wear and tare. I did put two starters on the vehicle.... Not bad for 145K. Now I drive a 2015, the last year of production, so far I have 56K on this LR2. As I said I miss the big Volvo 6cyl but that's it. I enjoy the LR2 simplicity of use, don't care about what some call a not so nice plastic center finish on the console and the control panel. The LR2 suits me just fine.
