Two means: (1) swap the relay with another one from under the hood that has the same rating. If problem follows the relay, then you can assume it is bad. (2) See "How to Test a 3, 4 or 5 Pin Relay With or Without a Diagram" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpRWcNoLdwQ , requires a couple tools.
