Gmc envoy not get fire 2 fuel pump
And i test pump ...pump good
I had the same problem with an 06 Envoy Denali. Engine died in traffic, wouldn't start. towed to York, PA GMC, When they got to it the next morning, started fine. $300 ignition switch replacement. 150 miles down the pike it dies again. towed again to small shop and checked right away, "No power to the fuel pump". underside of engine compartment fuse block corroded. $800 replacement fixed it, now four years ago.
I have a 02 G.M.C. envoy I am not getting power to the new fuel pump I replaced. I have replaced the cam ,and crank sensors along with a new ignition switch, still wont start spin over like it almost want to starts. Any ideas what to look for? Thanks.
Hello big boy I am looking here to help you so we can spoon together once again. Yours truely, Daisy Mae.
Replaced fuel pump no start can spray brake clean in throttle body starts and runs fine what could it be swapped delays around also
You Replace it with aftermarket fuel pump which has the wires different so you need to drop the fuel pump and check your wiring the wires may be switch on the after market fuel pump that I got the power wire is the 2nd wire from the end and the ground wire is the second wire from the front now u have two purple which u have to figure out one go on each end of the plug hopefully this'll help
I'm sorry the power wire is the second wire on the plug which should connect to the gray wire and the wire next to that should be black and both purple wire goes on the ends which one I don't no.
At the pump the wires are (from top view) grey (far left), Solid purple, Solid purple, and last is black. That's the Factory harness at the pump, nothing else. I have no clue how the aftermarket pumps are set up though?! That's probably the cause of this problem. I'm having the same exact problem right now. Did Anyone figure this issue out?!?! If you did, Please let me know.
There is NO inertia or fuel cutoff switch on these!
Charles, is that how the aftermarket pumps are wired?
