2014 5.7 HEMI. Popped P0308 and P2323

codes, swapped coils with #4. Misfire

I’ve been having the same issue on my 2015 ram 1500 for a while now, I’ve met a lot of people already that have this same issue some fix it by changing spark plugs and re-gapping others have lifter issues for mine we just figured out that it can be a faulty pcm or the harness that plugs into the cylinder #8, we tested it with a current tester and it showed nothing so it comes out as a dead cylinder. Hopefully you guys can figure it out these trucks are great but I’ve done so much research and talked to so many people that even after a simple spark plug change around 60k miles these cylinder issues start coming out of no where
Did you ever find out what the problem was I'm having the exact same problem
Cam shaft if coils and plugs have been replaced known problem.
I have yet to get my mechanics to determine what the problem is for the misfire on #8. Replaced spark plugs, plug wires and ignition coil twice. still sputters. they are talking about replacing the engine or valves...too expensive and need an answer please... rick0511631@yahoo.com
Did anyone fix the problem can it be the gas pump I changed it last time because I would have to open and close the key to load the pump so the truck would ignite could it be that it’s not getting enough fuel to the fuel injectors and the gas pump is giving me the same issues

After another manifold leak my started, so maybe not the right amount of oxygen?
It was my hose in my fuel pump
It could be a lot of things try spark plugs coil fuel injector swap out with another cylinder. But mine was my hose to my fuel pump damage so there was a leak in the system I guess but it fix my problem
I’ve been having the same problem for months. Changed out plugs ( NGK/Autolite iridium), coils, camshaft, crankshaft, pcv sensors, fuel injector for cylinder 8. I have nothing that has worked. Very frustrating.

Would a broken value spring cause this issue
My 2016 Ram 1500 5.7l hemi threw these same codes shortly after I bought it (March 2020). I did some research and went to my local dealership (not the dealer I purchased it from) and asked if they could look up the service history, I found out that the previous owner had tried to solve the issue but couldn’t get it fixed and traded it in. I assumed that this was going to be an electrical issue so I grabbed some wrenches and a multimeter. I popped the hood and went straight to cyc 8, I noticed the bolts to the coil pack seemed loose not super loose but easy enough that it didn’t “break“ loose. I removed the coils pack and it checked out; I pulled both spark plugs and they appeared newish. I randomly picked cyc 2 and removed it’s coil pack noticing that I had to “break” the bolts loose. I pulled the spark plugs and noticed they looked newish as well. I decided to put the plugs and coil from 8 into 2 and 2 into 8. Having felt that they bolts and plugs appeared to be torqued differently before I grabbed my torque wrench and looked up the torque specs. I torque everything down to spec; cyc 8 proved frustrating but I got the plugs and the bolts torqued to spec. I cleared the codes, started my truck up and everything ran as it should. 7,000 miles later and I haven’t had a single code. Check to ensure that everything is tightened down to spec. Not a guaranteed fix but I spent $0 to fix something that was probably the result of a service tech not using a torque wrench.
