2003 GMC envoy 4x4 arms removed?

Asked by Zacriana Mar 21, 2018 at 06:01 PM about the 2003 GMC Envoy 4 Dr SLE 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looking to buy an envoy and the guy said one of
the 4x4 arms started leaking so they were pulled
out and set to 2wd.... He said the car is still fully
functional and it hasn't given him problems.... Do
those arms NEED to be reinstalled or is it honestly
perfectly fine for them to be removed?

I copied and pasted what the ad says... >>> "The car is a 4x4, but one of the front 4x4 arms started leaking so they were pulled out. The car is currently set to the 2WD option. I still have the arms and they can be installed again if you want to fix it. The car runs perfectly fine without the arms. It has not given me any issues at all. Other than that there is nothing else wrong with it."

As long as the holes are plugged and the front driveline is removed, you'll be fine.
