2014 Toyota Camry Engine

Asked by GuruPT1GB Nov 03, 2021 at 03:55 PM about the 2014 Toyota Camry SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello I purchased a 2014 Toyota Camry SE in 2017..I'm currently
experiencing engine problems. The oil is evaporating within the engine.
There's no leaks. The dealership told me to bring the car back at 150,000 to
perform a oil leak test. The dealership discovered that there was no
excessive oil usage, but that clacking noise is back and I had to put oil in the
car before it's schedule oil change. Now that I'm at 152,000 miles I hope
Riverside Toyota honors the warranty and fix's my car!!! Please anyone that
lives within Southern California and has dealt with this issue please let me
know what dealership best helped you??

They most likely go with a quart in 600 miles as the break point, so if it doesn’t use that amount of oil then they will deny any oil consumption claim.
