Approx. how much to replace or rebuild a transmission on. 2002 Envoy? 225,000km on it, is it worth fixing?

Having it rebuilt is around $2,600. Buying a rebuilt tranny is roughly $800 all day long at least in my area. Buying a rebuilt one is the way I'd go since the I6 engine is bullet proof.
