2014 Highlander not going into 1st gear.

My 2014 Highlander XLE slips gears.  It won't even move into drive and there
are no error messages .  Engine sounds great.  It will jerk when I rev it, but
won't stay in gear. It has 74,000 miles on it and no problems.  Any ideas?

When you check the ATF level also check the smell and color. If it is burned, brown or black the transmission is toast.
