Driver's door wont open from the outside

Asked by azygmunt24 Mar 06, 2015 at 08:39 AM about the 2015 Kia Sorento EX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 Sorento, only 3 weeks old, and the driver's door wouldn't open from the outside for my wife this morning.  All other doors opened no problem, as did this one when opened from the inside.  So I don't think it is frozen.  Anyone have this issue before, and how can it be corrected?  Thank you in advance

Whether it's not opening because it's locked, (won't unlock), or is unlocked and still won't open, and not frozen, it means checking switches and modules, and/or taking off the door panel to see why. Don't do that, it's still under warranty, let dealer handle it.

Yeah, things might freeze up on a machine in the coldest winter in a 1000 years-
