Hi to all. Can I replace accessory receptacle? Tks, Toadman

Asked by Toadman51 Dec 31, 2020 at 07:54 AM about the 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty XL SuperCab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The accessory plug is the 12V plug at the driver side of the cab and it stopped
working.  I have checked all the fuses and found no problems.  Is there as way
to remove the old receptacle and replace that?  Thank you very much for any
assistance.

Yes but it is not easy. Just saying this, have you made sure all the fuse boxes have been checked? Ford likes to hide fuse boxes. Also I have seen fuses test good that were bad. I would put a different fuse in of same amperage.

Thank you for that V8. Ford has some funky looking little fuses too that are hard to get to. Are there videos for replacing the plug?

They are called mini blade fuses. Yes YouTube has several and you can purchase these power accessory units also separately.
