2015 mazda cx-5; I like to start my car allow it to warm up. I start the car and return to my house however finding i cannot lock my vehicle, even with the keyfab with me. PLEASE HELP!

I have the advanced keyless feature, push to start button. I have tried starting my car
allowing it to warm up, take the keyfab out of the car and the vehicle is still running which
is fine. However, the doors will not lock and someone is able to hop in and drive off. How
do I lock the doors while the car is running?
