dealer says battery harness bad causing it to need new transmission

battery suddenly died and now dealer service said battery harness needs to be
replaced and this is probably reason the
transmission to be replaced.  has anyone had any issues with their
transmission after replacing battery

You can get another opinion from an independent shop. Subaru CVT's go bad all the time and most if not all the time it has nothing to do with the wiring.
