1998 gmc Safari 160,000 when I turn the with out trying to start the car it starts the car and it continue to try to start the car even when the car is on I replaced the ignition switch.

to the ignition n it still does the same
even when I shift it on drive you can
still hear it cranking

have you tried checking the starter for something bridging the two power points togeather??
