Starter won't engage or start
2015 Fiat 500 having starting issues when its cold out.
Starter spins but won't cranck and makes Check Engine
light come on. Anyone knows if there is a solution to this.
The word cranking describes the starter engaging. So are you saying the engine doesn't start or turn over? A check engine light indicates and problem and with that, there will be a code stored in the system. Scan for the trouble codes to get you on the correct path to fixing the problem. borrow or purchase a OBDii code scanner. You can post the 4 digit code or codes back her and we try to help further. If you don't have the time, have the car towed to an auto garage for a repair.
