When I reach 75 MPH a loud noise that seems to be coming from underneath
my car or the front left wheel. The noise sounds and feels like something got
caught under the car and is being dragged.

Did you look under the car?

Yes that was the first thing I did. There is nothing dragging. The noise only occurs at freeway speeds. Bumps in the road do not affect it or make the noise occur. There has been no noises when turning the wheels either that would indicate CV joint.

I know what it is now !!!! The retaining pin to the splash guard broke off. When there is enough wind pressure (75mph) the splash guard is pushed down and rubs on the road surface. There are clear rub marks on the corner of the splash guard that indicates exactly where it comes in contact with the road.
