I have a 2015 Nissan Titan Pro-4x. I just towed w/I for the 1st time last week. When I plugged in the lights, I had brake & turning lights but I had no running lights. At 1st I thought it was the trailer & I was victimized by yet another damn mouse. I checked all the wires on the trailer & all was good. I then hooked up one of my other trucks & the trailer lights worked fine. I put a meter across the plug on the Titan & the meter showed the 12 volts for brakes & turnin but nothing for running lights. I tried to figure out the fusses in the cab & under the hood. I checked what I thought were trailer fusses & all looked good. What have I missed or where should I be looking? HELP! Lol! Thanks

For anyone that read my question: After exhausting my efforts to find the problem myself, I ended up taking it to a Nissan dealer (since its a brand new truck it had better be under warranty!). Low & behold after 3 1/2hrs of waiting for them to diagnose the problem a very tired & now warn out mechanic found the problem! Deep under the dashboard where the plug hooks in, he found that when it was installed at the factory they bent 2 of the male pins in the end plug so that they where not making contact w/ the female side of the plug. He replaced that & I'm back in business! I'm so glad I took it to them. I more then likely would have driven myself nuts trying to find it & gotten so pissed I couldn't I'd end up breaking other things! I did however have to explain to the people at the dealership 3x's that A) I did not purchase the truck from them. B) It doesn't matter where I bought the truck THEY ARE A NISSAN DEALERSHIP THAT WORKS ON NISSAN VEHICLES ESPECIALLY WARRANTY MATTERS! C) It's a warranty matter & I'm not paying anything for the work they did. & D) IT'S A TITAN PRO-4X! THEY COME EQUIPPED W/ A TOW PACKAGE W/ HITCH & WIRING. I DID NOT HAVE TO ADD AN AFTERMARKET HITCH OR WIRING HARNESS!! Hope this helps SOMEONE else!
