Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 94 GMC Suburban and the front brakes are locked up. opened up the two lines going into the mater cylinder still would not release. Checked the rubber lines and they seem to be solid no visible or felling that they collapsed. The front passenger side is completely locked up the driver side moves but not much. No dash lights to say an issue with abs. No lights on at all on the dash. Any ideas as to what is going on?

The thing about rubber brake lines it can be collapsed on the inside with out any visual evidence on the out side of the line. Do this test the side that is locked up loosen the bleeder screw to caliper if rotor spins free the brake line is collapsing replace hose if rotor stays locked up piston is seized in caliper.
Thanks I am gonna give it a whirl and see what happens. hopefully don't break the bleeder! hate them damn things. PB blaster it is!
Alright cracked open the bleeder nothing came out. Pulled bleeder completely out still fluid movement. It was there. Put screw drive between pad and piston. Piston wouldn't move much. Got enough to move rotor about half way around. Put bleeder back in started truck, stepped on brake. Locked it right back up. This was on passenger side. The worse side. Does this sound like caliper and line? Or something else.

If it was the hose the rotor would automatically spin freely when you removed the bleeder screw so its your piston seized in caliper and also your bleeder screw is clogged if no fluid came out when you loosened screw. Replace screw or unclog bleeder screw holes.
