2017 Sportage here with same issue. I removed the SD card for about 5 minutes, drove the vehicle, then placed the card back into the slot. Everything back to normal.

Navigation clock stopped working. I updated the system. It.took 20 minutes, but it started working again. Hope this helps.

I called the Kia dealership in Durham since my clock did not work. they told me they could not do anything and did not know how to fix it. When I did an Internet search on this website I found the answer to the problem. Very simple. Just take the SD card out and put it back in. Fixed the problem and seconds. I don’t understand why Kia service in Durham don’t know how to help people with this problem. Very poor PR.

Same problem and was told it was a "Satellite Problem" from KIA Service. My clock was out as well as my phone pairing. Was paired and then would not connect. CALL 800-333- 4542 and you are connected to KIA CUSTOMER SERVICE in IRVINE, CA. They have techs that will talk you through every problem to fix whatever is wrong. I was instructed to take out my SD card (to the right of navigation screen), and reinsert it. I did this and the clock was back! They also helped repair the "pairing" problem I was having. DO NOT CALL THE DEALERSHIPS! THEY ARE USELESS. Call the 800# above and really get the help you need!
