Most auto parts stores will read the codes for free or you can buy a code reader for under $100.

Take it up to any auto parts store, most will do a free code scan for you. You can take it to a mechanic or service garage as well, but might have to pay a fee. You can also buy a code scanner, they go as cheap as $40 for a basic one. You can then lookup the code online to see what it means.
