Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2016 Outback is literally eating tires! I have 75k, and put on new tires in
Jan 17, Jan 18, and need new ones now. I rotate the tires every service and
Did an alignment too. Any suggestions why I am not getting even 20k on the
tires? We don’t have excessive loads. Can’t understand why...,,

I don't know what type of driving you do or if you are running crappy tires but I can say that my Subaru gets fairly poor tire mileage in mountain driving which I attribute to the AWD. I do get more than 20k miles, probably 30 to 35K. Have your cars suspension inspected and aligned!

Our driving is basically back and forth 15 miles to work, and trips on the interstate. I am a very tame driver! We have had this problem since we barely got 20k on the original tires. Someone wondered if a rim could be bent, which might throw off all tires. My mechanic just says AWD eats tires, but this is crazy. Will take to a tire place and see if they can find an issue. Frustrating cuz the last subaru we had, a 2013 Impreza burned oil like crazy! Thanks!
