slider will not open

our passenger side slider will not open no matter how we try with the remote,
the overhead or pulling on the handle.  It is in the lock position we cannot move
the button on the door.  Please help us to get the door open as we have
toddlers that we need to get in out of their car seats.

Is there a lock for the door at the main switch on the driver door that is active? Child safety lock on?

I did take off the main lock on the car. I cannot get the door open to see the child safety lock. I cannot open it by pulling on the handle from the outside of the car.
