My key won't turn in the ignition.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My wheels are turned completely to the right. My key will not turn in the ignition and I can't move my steering wheel a bit to try to unlock it. Everything seems to be frozen. It worked fine when I moved it and then a couple of hours later this happened. Help!!! Thank you.

Is it turned in to and pushing on a curb? If so you might try getting some help to move it just enough to get the pressure off the tire, maybe jack it up, turn wheel
You were right the wheel was against the curb. I did manage to move the wheel slightly and got it unlocked. Thank you !!!!!
My pleasure..happy for you was not serious/expensive Good Day!

My key won't turn and I'm not on a curb
Could be a worn or jammed wafer in the ignition lock cylinder. This is a somewhat common problem with the 2002-2007 Honda Accords. If this is your problem, you can disassemble, remove the bad wafer, and put it back together to fix the issue. You can find others with this issue on youtube or google. Jiggle the steering wheel while you turn your key! This happened with me (honda accord) and it helped right away!
Best answer lol piece of crap car.
