Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi. I have an Accord 2003. Sometimes the key gets stuck in the ignition
system; while I insert the key to start or try to remove the key to stop engine.
Would you please suggest me how and where to repair this? How much it
might cost to repair? FYI, I am using the vallet key; since the dealer did not
give me the original one while I bought this used car.

But do you think this problem might be related with the valet key?

Run your VIN through a vehicle search engine on google or even better, call Honda USA Corporate offices and give them your year make model and VIN and have them check to see if your ignition was involved in the faulty ignition recall and if it was, ask them if it shows if your car was repaired or not.

I'm having the same issue. It won't start & I live on an island so I'm completely stuck without a car. The 1st time the battery died (which was only 1.5 yes old), I replaced it just 2weeks ago! Now the key is stuck in the ignition, can't turn on or off or remove the key...
