2016 Camry won't crank

Asked by Kevin Jun 05, 2019 at 08:53 AM about the 2016 Toyota Camry SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just changed the fusible link block in my 2016 Camry after my car refused to
turn on with the key in the start position (radio was the only thing other than
lights turning on). Now that i fixed that problem, the car refuses to crank. I've
jumped the car, and replaced all the bad fuses and relays prior to replacing the
fusible link block, but it didn't work. Any suggestions on what might be wrong?
Also, i received a code for a bad crankshaft position sensor before the initial
issue of the car not turning on.

All I can say is don't use guess work you'll just waste $$ , you may need a technician rather than a joe blow mechanic .

Why didn't u replace crank sensor? Also if it doesn't even crank over could b starter...take out and have it tested

I didn't replace the sensor because the code popped up the same day the car completely stopped working, probably 30 min prior. I wasn't sure that was the problem, as both incidents happened so close to each other.
