Switching to and From Sport Mode

Asked by H3llspartan Jun 18, 2017 at 03:38 PM about the 2016 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack RWD

Question type: General

Is it okay for me to switch back and forth between sport
mode and the regular default mode while driving around?

For example, I like to switch to sport mode whenever I see
a nice stretch of back road that I can accelerate quickly on.
But if I'm on the highway, I don't want to be consuming the
extra gas.

I just want to make sure I am not damaging anything
internally if I am switching back and forth between the two
modes several times during a trip.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Read your owners manual but I see no problem as the two different modes are just ECU settings, one for economy and one for performance.
