Would an instant fuel pressure leak down be caused by fuel injectors?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After doing a pressure test on the fuel system, I found I have a instant leak down after
shutting down the engine. I am sure it has something to do with the fuel pump assembly
but I just want to make sure the injectors would not cause this before dropping the fuel
tank.

It could be an injector, but you would notice it when the engine was running. There would be tons of fuel leaking from that injector and it would cause starting and running problems, particularly idle. Are seeing, or smelling, a fuel leak? There should be a check valve in the fuel pump assembly. Sounds like that isn't working.
