The refrigerant level may be low.

I have a 1980 Honda Accord start and runs great with or with out AC, wipers and Stereo on. But when the headlights are turned on the engine starts to die, if headlights are turned off before engine dies the engine takes off and runs great. I just recharged the Freon and replaced all the compressor seals on my Honda Accord 85. But now the revs drop when A/C is turned on. How can I solve this? 3 Answers

The compressor seals were replaced, the evaporator was cleaned, freon gas was recharged, but now the revs drop when I turn the A/C on, and the engine temperature rises a lot.

My 94 Honda accord will sutter then not start or start then idles down super fast, then will not start. Seems to do it after running the ac but could have nothing to do with it idk. Any idea why 1 Answer

Only does after I have driven for a bit. Doesn't have issues starting after sitting for awhile. If I wait ten minutes it will start again. Its almost like vapor locks or something idk
