I bought a 2002 Honda accord for my grand-daughter, it came with only 1 key, I went to buy a spare key and I was charged $40 and was told it is a smart key even if it did not come with a keypad, is this true?

Question type: General

when I lock the doors with the key, a red anti-theft light illuminates near the doors locks on the door panels inside, does that mean it is activated by the key?
