First place to start would be with the heater core.

No first would be the fuses not the Heater core When have you replaced a heater core. its Not easy and its very costly.

I have replaced the heater core, since there is no fuse for heat. The only fuse there, would be for the blower motor, which they say it just blows cold. To know if the heater core is bad, you will smell antifreeze, or the floor will be wet on the pass. side.
