I have a 2001 ford taurus. I start my car and drive it around for a while and I get
to a store then I get back my car and it don't start or it starts revs high like 1k
rpms then shuts off. Someone is telling me alternator but I replaced that
several months ago probably 6 months ago. Eventually after awhile the car
does start. Please any and all help would be appreciated

Have the obd read at your local parts store to see if there are any pending codes. In the meantime have a look around at your vacuum hose for leaks and make sure the pcv is functioning o.k. Would give the throttle body a cleaning and see if that helps, they can get gummed up with varnish deposits.
