ford taurus 2001 won't start

last night when i went to start my car it wouldn't start.  i hear a clicking noise when turn the key and the transaxil, oil, and battery lights all turned on. any idea what could be wrong?

Sounds like a dead battery or loose connections. Have you tried to jump start it? All because the lights come on does not necessarily mean that your battery has enough voltage to start your car.
