Who was the seller? Private or a dealer? It is a used car, and you probably bought it as is. It's too old for someone to give you a warranty. If it was a used car dealer you can always try and ask them if they would cover some or all of the repair. Cargurs is just an ad site and doesn't offer any assistance or warranty on any vehicle bought and sold on this site, if that is what you are wondering. Always have a car inspected by a mechanic before purchasing fro you avoid issues like this. Don't trust the salesman.
