Today my 2007 Ford Taurus made a pop noise I thought it was my tire but it wasn't. When I went to put car into drive it wouldn't move and makes a loud noise. I am hoping someone knows what went wrong. My car still on street I am unsure what I can do.

That sounds like an internal transmission problem, a solenoid or worse - there have been reports of planetary gears failing with a popping noise. I had a Taurus fail with torque converter spline plate wore out prematurely, complete loss of gears as front pump could no longer turn, but that doesn't make a popping sound and also makes a whining noise. Your problem is indicative of something internal to the tranny. You can watch the trans fluid level when starting/shifting and see if it drops, at least then you'll know if the pump is turning which can help pinpoint problem, but I really suspect you have a failure of planetary gears. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Go under and make sure nothing is broken and that you don't have a bigger leak than normal, check and make sure the axel is not broken, have someone listen the noise from the outside while you try to drive it. To deter where it's comming from.
