why my key does not turn in the ignition and can't start car ?

Are you sure its not the trunk key because sometimes you can have 2 sets of key's that have there own funtion (1 to start car the other to open trunk of car) or worst case you need to maybe get it reprogrammed
If the key will not turn it is either the wrong key or your key cylinder is bad and won't let the key turn. Make sure your tires aren't turned all the way one direction. If this is the case,turn the steering wheel the same way the wheels are turned and see if it will let the key turn at the same time.
Sometimes the steering wheel gets locked into place for no apparent reason. Just jiggle the steering wheel back and forth and it should allow you to release the key. You might have to try this a couple of times, but you'll feel the point that the key will release. Hope this helps.
