1998 Honda Civic, engine light stays on, dome light flickers, when I turn on
the head lights the idle slows, when I step on the gas in park the speedometer
moves. I've changed the spark plugs, the rotor, and put in a brand new fuse
box ( the one next to the battery ). Can any one help me out ????

Usually lights flickering or especially brightening and dimming can be a faulty alternator (the voltage regulator inside). U can take it out and have it tested or even put a volt meter on it and see if voltage stays STEADY at about 14 volts with loads put on it. U may even have a volt gauge on dashboard to see it there.
Make sure the engine has a GOOD clean ground going to the chassis of the car. poor ground from the battery could cause some of your issues as well. Check your Door switches that control the dome light to make sure they are totally open/closed when the door is closed.
Every thing looks good except now the engine light still stays on and the speedometer doesn't move at all, but the car runs great. I need to get these working in order to smog it.
